The GamerScore Blog made its way down to my backyard, Miami, Florida for the 4th stop of its 5 stop road trip. After taking the 10 minute drive from my house to the Hyatt Hotel in Fort Lauderdale, I arrived at about 5:05 PM and was greeted by CPaladino, and Dirty Diva. After walking inside and seeing the 50 inch HDTV’S setup around the entire room, I was introduced to stalalem, who was hooking up the Stream Camera, and Basteylon, who was rocking out in Guitar Hero II.

After getting an introduction, and a tour of everything, I was able to grab myself a Bud Light, and was able to play the retail version of ShadowRun.
Review – ShadowRun – I was never good at the ShadowRun Beta, so I never could get into the game. The first thing I noticed was that the game looked pretty, and was much more polished then the Beta version. The trees had an awesome glow, the characters looked more detailed, and the game looked very good on the HDTV is was being shown on. I only played against Bots since it wasn’t hooked up to Xbox Live, but the game seemed enjoyable. I am still not sure if I would purchase the game, only due to my lack of skill, but anyone who enjoyed the Beta will find this game an easy must own game.
Review – Mad Tracks – Mad Tracks has been a game I have been waiting for since I first got information about the game. We were able to reveal the achievements for the game, and had been trying to find out the XBLA launch date. I believe the game will be coming out very, very soon. Anyway, I played against Chris, John, and Deejay Knight. The first game… I got whooped. I was the last person to finish and almost didn’t get didn’t reach the finish line. However, I got my revenge in the 2nd game, and was able to avoid all the missiles, the oil spots, and win the game. The learning curve for the game only takes a few minutes, just need to learn how to shoot and what the spring on the bottom means… I discovered rather quickly…

I was able to have some interesting conversations with Godfree about GamerTagRadio, and with Zamees (GamerTagPics). I then explained x360a a bit, about our rich history and a few tidbits regarding our future.
My favorite game at the event had to be Carcisonne. Its a board game that involved a lot of strategy, yet is simple enough for anyone to pick up and master. This game is a definite buy for me.
We saw some other games that I sadly can’t anything about, including The Darkness, and Undertow. The event was a lot of fun, and I was able to meet many members of the community. At the end of the night, I recieved my GamerTag jacket, and some awesome extras including Xbox Live, ShadowRun, and Forza 2. Thanks GSB!

My good friends over at 360voice never stop working, and this Coding Tuesday was no exception. They released a mobile version of 360voice. I will let them tell you the rest…
“This week we are launching a slimmed down, scaled back, mobile version of 360voice. A new link has been added to your blog in the Links & Community section. To access any mobile version use the url http://m.360voice.com/t/gamertag.”
So, how does http://m.360voice.com/t/DaKing240 look on your phone?
Just some random thoughts I have had yesterday and today…

I have cut down on my 360 postings lately, since I may be moving them to x360a.org. Still working on the details, whether I will be on the site in the future, and if so, what jobs I will be carrying out. I guess the posts on the homepage is more like a test. I personally would rather see a WordPress implementation, on a seperate page. We will see what happens. Nothing is final btw, as you can see later in this post, I am a little annoyed this week with a few procedures and limitations…
Good News of the Week:
Bad News of the Week:
Under 18, tough luck. Thats Microsofts stance it seems because it looks like you are going to have to wait until Fall to get your Under 18 problem resolved on Xbox Live.
The problem? Currently if you signed up for Xbox Live, and you were under 18 years old, then your stuck with a child account on Xbox 360. Over 18 now? It doesn’t matter, because it still registers as Under 18, and Microsoft won’t let you change your Hotmail or MSN email account.
Trixie360, community manager for 360, said this on Xbox.com…
“Actually there is no option to go into Family Settings to enable IM functionality in child accounts at this time. If you are under 18, unfortunately you will be unable to use it.”
“We are working on a solution for the Fall Update.”
“As I said above, this issue will be addressed in the Fall update. Until then the only real option is to set up a new gamertag as an adult. It’s not optimal and we realize that, which is why we are working on a solution for Fall.”
Beginning May 9th, Xbox LIVE, the most interactive gaming and social network available, is once again expanding with the arrival of Windows Live Messenger on Xbox 360. This new feature, available as part of the Xbox 360 Spring Update, will connect people across Xbox 360 consoles, Windows PCs and Windows Mobile devices. Xbox LIVE members will be able to socialize with people on their unified friends list, including their contacts from the more than 260 million Windows Live Messengers across the world. With Instant Messenger, Xbox LIVE members will have the ability to:
· Chat via instant messenger with up to 20 contacts in a single conversation, and have up to six different conversations at the same time with people on PCs, mobile phones and other Xbox 360 consoles.
· Instant message while playing games, listening to music or watching movies or TV shows downloaded from Xbox LIVE Marketplace.
· View at a glance if friends on Windows Live Messenger have gamertags and add them to a unified friends list.
· Utilize the virtual keyboard on the Xbox 360 to text chat or connect a USB keyboard to the console. Launching later this summer, the Xbox 360 text-input device accessory will connect directly to the controller to support instant messaging.
In addition to the availability of Instant Messenger on Xbox LIVE, the Xbox 360 Spring Update will bring with it hundreds of other features and enhancements to the console. Here are just a few:
· On-screen pop-ups that immediately display the name and gamerscore value of a just accomplished Achievement, allowing gamers to see their progress without leaving or pausing the game.
· An even safer way to communicate through Xbox LIVE with enhanced family settings that enable different default settings for video chat and voice chat.
· A new, standalone Xbox LIVE Marketplace blade houses all Xbox LIVE Marketplace content in one easy to navigate space.
· Xbox LIVE Arcade enhancements that showcase what games friends are playing directly from the friends list. Boasting about high scores, comparing progress and checking out leaderboards are all easier now as well.
· Faster access to free, trial version of Xbox LIVE Arcade games through an improved Auto Downloads feature.
· The ability to fast-forward, pause and rewind video as it is being downloaded on Xbox LIVE Marketplace.
· Owners can now set their consoles to turn off after downloading content from Xbox LIVE Marketplace to help save energy, and download speeds have been increased.

Capcom’s Rocketman: Axis of Evil game has some screens up. First off, I have never heard of this game, and secondly, what does everyone think of the screen shots?
