Now before I begin, I am by no means insulting Microsoft, or anyone who works at Microsoft, this is my personal opinion at the events that surrounded the “Major Announcement”…
Huge Microsoft announcement coming Tuesday at 1:30 Eastern. That was the news spreading like wildfire thanks in part to a post on GTR. With everyone antcipating the news, it finally came today by a leak on some news sources like xbox360fanboy.
The overly hyped news was nothing more then a new Pac Man game – Pac Man Championship Edition. With all respect to Pac Man, its a great retro game. However, the major news is dissapointing in a sense because no matter what the creators do, Pac Man will always be Pac Man. HD is great, some new designs are cool, but the major news is nothing that major to 360 gamers.
Either way, in my opinion, this weeks Major Announcement was nothing more then a flaming pile of poo.

MAJOR THUMBS DOWN to Aaron Greenberg. If this announcement would have been out of the blue it would have been very cool. Why does MS always have to screw up their “secret” announcements?
On the “its just pacman” comment… I really think this game will do well. Also I honestly hope these total updates to classic games do well so we get he ones we really want (Street Fighter [ok we are kinda getting this already], Contra, Smash TV, etc…)

its not pacman thats exciting
its that the pacman creator has helped in creating the new mazes for the new pacman
now that in itself isnt huge news but considering that there hasnt been a new maze to pacman in say, what was that number 1up threw on their site? 26 years? yea so, its the closest thing to a sequel
that is exciting
i still wont buy it tho $10 for pacman is $9 to much lol
im sure all the fools who bought the standalone xbla pacman feel like dumbasses

Give the game a try. I picked it up this morning and it is very good. I was surprised how fun it was. I don’t have the original pac’s on xbla so I don’t think 10 bucks is that bad of a deal.

I agree with Nagol. The pricing is ridiculous.
